Crowd looks good to me at Temple

They'd kick our *** this year. They have a better QB. It looks like they have a real nice receiver.

Their D is extremely well coached. bottling up USF's QB

My Lord there might be 120,000 empty seats between these 2 games.
Why you hating on Temple? they are good people. If we were still in the AAC we'd suck like now and have no one in the stands .

Nuts, its pretty embarrassing you are hating on them right now the way our football program is a dumpster fire.

Didn't we go after Temple's QB and Flood ****** that up?

Also, Rhule it could be said, is a better coach than Ash.

I don't think Temple are good people. Yes my this my opinion and it's arbitrary. So is yours.

Who cares? So pull for Temple then. Doesn't mean Nuts has to compliment them.

Nah, I'm not "hating" on them, I'm simply speaking the truth. It has nothing to do with us. If Cal was playing in front of 10,000 fans I'd say the same thing. Rhule? We'll see once Ash a few classes in here. I'm not sold on Rhule just yet. If he doesn't have that madman on D last year, along with Walker, they probably win 6 games. Don't look nearly as good this year, either, but we'll see.

They're 4-3 against the 81st most difficult schedule in the nation (to date).

Rhule lost twice to he who shall remain nameless. Getting out coached by him is quite an achievement. I will take Ash any day.

Agree and disagree. In the end, yes, record is all that matters, but if you think people don't talk about your SOS, in the off-season, you're out of your mind. We were lambasted for years here, by all our BE peers, for playing watered-down OOC's under Schiano.

I'll go one better than Nuts. I completely disagree. Houston's loss to Navy completely eliminates them from the playoff. They have zero chance to being a great team this year. No one even covers them anymore.
There will be 1 loss teams in the playoff. The AAC will not be one of them

Just saw a big mistake by the official at the Temple game. Temple kicks off and its a line drive and get past everyone from Houston. Official calls the ball dead when it passed the goal line. That ball is still live until it's downed.

False. College rules as soon as ball hits ground in end zone ball is dead.

NFL you'd be correct.

Not worthy another thread, although I know Knight Shift may steal this and start one.
Besides Rutgers, what game interest you tomorrow?? I mean if we all are watching Temple now, we are all football freaks. But tomorrows line-up in the middle of conference play is not very exciting.

Dead IN end zone unless touched. That's why - every now and then - you see a guy just walk away from a ball in the end zone without touching it.
But if there is a guy in the end zone he can return it even if it hits the ground. I forget the game last year but the player picked it up late after it hit inside the goAl line and tried to return it and got creamed at the 5 yard line. I want to say Oregon

I also have to say it's weird that Mack Brown is the color guy on this game. Seems below him for a guy that was so much a big story in college football and now calling AAC games. But have to admit he is very good.

He absolutely CAN return it, however, if it hits the ground and he doesn't pick it up and run, or down the ball, it's down:

"Ball Dead in End Zone ARTICLE 7. a. When a free kick untouched by Team B touches the ground on or behind Team B’s goal line, the ball becomes dead and belongs to Team B. b. If the result of the free kick is a touchback'

Why are you defending Temple? The tools that came on here puffing their chests last year were insufferable. Glad to see that program knocked down a notch. Wasn't doing us any favors.

A bit early to declare Rhule better than Ash, and it "could be said" that it's a seriously stupid statement to make right now.

Just cause your family member went to Temple doesn't mean anyone else has to root for it.

Make that just Rutgers. Tonight's win pretty much assured Temple of a second-straight AAC East title.

It is going to get very ugly on this board next year if we continue to struggle at QB and Russo is tearing it up for Temple. Ugh.

Navy is the real deal and Navy Marine Corps Stadium is better than ever.
QB Will Worth is dynamic. 200 yards rushing of 447 yards total. However, has the arm to keep teams honest. Should be ranked mid teens this week.
