U play the hardest schedule in the country and have a winning record ( and beat a 4 seed 3 times ) you deserve a top 10 seed and they got it .
Bubble teams never ever get a 9. This committee seems to believe Vandy was in all along which is counter to everything I've seen and believe at 19-15.
If you look at the teams seeded 6-11, they are all very similar. I think the committee really struggles placing all of these teams, especially with conference tournament muddying the waters very late in the game.
If the committee had a week after the conference tourneys, Vandy is probably a 10 seed, but it's not much of a stretch to have a team that had the #1 SOS, beat Iowa State, won at Arkansas and beat a 4 seed 3 times a 9 seed.
No apology necessary, I wasn't positive we were in, just thought we had a great shot relative to the other crappy bubble teams.
I'm pretty darn impressed with Bryce Drew.
Jim Swarthout, Fat Sam, Mr. Poon, Dr. Rosenpenis, & John Coctostan are the only ones picking UK to the final four so far.
I think the committee moved them up to play Northwestern. I'm not a big conspiracy guy. But I think they stretch a little to get games like that.

Beating Florida for a 3rd time didn't jump us from out of the tournament to a 9 seed if logic is in play.

Florida was 14-2 in the SEC other than Vanderbilt, including one decisive win over UK. They were 0-3 against VU. That was huge for VU. That can't be emphasized enough. Florida is a 4 seed, one of the top 16 teams in the country. VU beat them in Gainesville and on a neutral court as well as in Memorial.
People that thought VU was a bubble team either didn't do their homework or don't understand how the tournament committee views things.
VU was the 33rd ranked team according to the committee. They were nowhere near the bubble, they didn't move them up, they earned their seed, they beat Iowa State and won in Gainesville (Florida's only home loss this year) and Fayetteville, as well as Knoxville. They played the No. 1 schedule in the country. Their RPI was in the low 30s. Their other metrics were really good.
The information was out there, people didn't look for it. The committee saw it and reacted accordingly. Lunardi had them as a 9 seed this morning and that's where the committee put them. There is no mystery here.
