Hibriten beat Freedom pretty easily earlier in the year. Freedom had a lot of miscues in that game. I think we'll be fine if we come out and play, but Freedom did just beat a banged up Alexander Central team.

Freedom is the second worst team in the conference, right ahead of Ashe. Hibriten should win by at least 21.
We need to come out and play with the same passion we have the last 2 weeks and not thinking it will be a cake walk because of the game in Morganton…. I’d say we should win by at least 14
For some reason when a team plays a team in the playoffs they played during the season, that 2nd game a lot of times is vastly different.
Not this time though. Hibriten rolls. 49-7. That's a special atmosphere you guys have up there in Lenoir on Friday nights, especially during the playoffs. Y'all coming outta the woods, the cannon firing. One of the coolest entrances in high school football. Glad I've gotten to experience it a couple times.

I don't know that we have 49 points in us. But I do think we should win if we play like we are capable.
Each team has only had 3 drives this half…. Panthers defense is bending but so far hasn’t broken… Freedom getting ready to attempt 25 yard FG
Panthers just got robbed after blocking the FG!!! Freedom picks it up and runs it in to the end zone but the play should of been blown dead
Once a player in this case the kicker took his helmet off the play should of been ruled dead

Don’t have to win big just have to win… Block field goal was legit. Smart on freedom to keep playing. 15 for freedom was a beast all night. Good game freedom,, well have to be a lot better next friday
Concord sounds like the real deal. I mean they weren’t all that past couple years but play smart y’all might do something
according to maxpreps and simmons, hibriten/concord previews to be a true coin flip — certainly what you would expect for a 7/10 seed game. should be fun.

I’d expect a good un none the less. Of course with Concord, the level of competition and strength of schedule will and can play a roll. No question that Concord plays tougher teams than Hibriten not that any of us can help that we can’t help what’s sitting in the conference in our area. I called it right on the NL game against West Rowan that WR would most likely walk away winners by 14 but turned out to be by 6 or less based on strength of schedule. I’d give Concord the edge on this one by 10, but hoping for a Hibriten win just like the next man.
Good luck to the Panthers next week, we need a win considering you guys, Maiden, West Lincoln only ones in the area advanced to 2nd round. Watauga put out early that was disappointing. Oh yeah Draughn made it but be short lived.

Seriously, if Concord has played tougher teams then Hibriten played then they have played middle school teams all year. Concord played in a terrible conference this year. Tuscola was not good last night. The only good team concord played this year they beat them 47-0.
Concords conference was not that great I will agree but they did defeat West Rowan which out muscled North Lincoln. West Rowan would most likely sweep everyone in Hibirtens conf except Watauga. I said most likely not saying they would ha ha. It’s gonna be a good game no question but they’ll have their hands full
Hibritens beat all to heck I think. Freshman and sophomores everywhere on both sides of the ball. This will be a tall task for hhs however any second round playoff game is a win for this group. Once again hibriten sets standard in Caldwell county for home games in nov!!

watauga couldn’t have been more unlucky with the bracket. top 100 (all on nc) teams like mallard creek (4-4) and cutherbertson (4-6) coming out of charlotte are a brutal draw. lol some reward for winning the conference and getting a top 6 seed.
True. Many got knocked off first round in the area. A lot of Charlotte schools have the tallent athleticism and brut schedule even with bad records. I remember when South Caldwell was dominating and played a Charlotte school in playoffs that barely got in and they almost lost just to play another one the next week and really lose. Sorta happened to Watauga but with not getting past 1st round
