Despite all that happened in the Iowa game be it the refs, some plays not made in close games it still comes down to free throw shooting; While in the Iowa game the stats say 15-21 we also missed the front end of two one and ones so that is effectively 15-23 and that is the game changer right there; same thing in the Illinois game we were 3-8 from the line; Improve our foul shooting and we win both these games and going forward that's what is going to decide the close games

I've said many times on this board........ the most important thing about free throw shooting is making them

Harper and Geo are the only ones I trust at the line.

Sooner than later, teams are going to figure out that its best to just foul Myles on shots close to the rim. That's going to be his downfall if he doesn't get better at making them.

I'd add McConnell to my trusted list behind Baker/Harper at the top but that's about it.

Free throw shooting is an Achilles heel and likely to haunt this team again this season.

We're also a different FT shooting team on the road. Overall, we're .647... but we're .655 at home and .614 in true road games.
