The Big 10 is 4-3 against the SEC the last two years. Michigan beat UF last year, Penn St. beat UT and Wisconsin beat SEC West champ Arkansas in 06. The SEC was favored in all of those games. The SEC had the better top team, but that's it.

Big 10 players tend to be slower, but they're seldom out of position and are hard-nosed. That's one of the reasons Nick Saban has done well in the SEC- he has the Big 10 mentality of having his players mentally and physically prepared, but also has recruited the speed northern teams lack.

little misleading. for one, ark NEVER does well in bowls. i think nutt's 2-6 all time at ark? for some reason he just can't get his teams up for bowl games, or hasn't so far. also, ut hasn't exactly been on top of their game the last few years. how the hell uf lost to michigan last year is beyond me. i think their team just wasn't up to playing and the fact that mchigan was playing for carr who was coaching his last game might have given them the edge. i still can't explain it. the sec's bcs record is pretty impressive and can't be matched, however.
