I didn't note but I had a gift from God type of vibe when Coach Hill showed up at R tailgate a few years ago (as above) and we got to spend a few hours with him (the day before the Fred Hill complex dedication?). Coach Hill didn't look the best then (I wondered if he had suffered a previous stroke) and I got a vibe Coach Hills presence was kind of like a "last tour" gift from God who wanted to bless myself and others by finally meeting Coach Hill before he passed on.
By the way in too bad shape for the extra buck but Sunday's Star ledger had a great retrospective on Coach Hill and listed many of the great players he developed.
On that note just got back from "Ash Wednesday" service and I finally got to meet the great former Immaculata H.S. Coach Pierce Freunheim (sp) who sent a few players to RU (thanked him for that) over the years. I believe he may be a Rutgers alum himself.
