I'm listening to Bob Valvano show on ESPN680 and his weekly Tuesday guest Fred, and man oh man did he sounded all happy and excited about the UK pregame and postgame on Friday night, and when he mentioned us about WLKY postgame after our game, his voice wasn't as high as when he was talking about UK.

I'm thinking he'll be very sad when UK loses.

Known Uk lover he is just pay attention to their sports always leads off with Uk. That station and WKYT in Lexington which is the head station they are both owned by the same company.

Did any lexghanistan tv send their reporters to Atlanta to cover the Cards ?
I dont even watch the local news due to their big blew slobfest.
Well, unless SuCkS loses, then im recording so i can watch all 4 :D

I called Valvano's show one Tuesday when Freddie was on there, both of them giggling uncontrollably which I had to put an end to... I asked why the news stations feel the need to give "balanced" coverage when only a third of their viewing audience is comprised of slapd!cks. Needless to say they weren't too enthusiastic about my POV.

And I never got to ask the follow-up question of what they were gonna do when it fell below 10% slappies. (...That "trajectory" thingy that Doc always talked about.)

Sorry, redfist, you could not be more wrong.
WLKY is a HEARST station, WKYT is NOT.
The only affiliation is they both carry CBS programming

Really? The guy has committed his entire career to this community. Give him a break. So what if leans toward UK, I have never heard or seen him do anything that would negatively impact Louisville. Really not something you should be getting yourself all worked up over. Just be damn glad we have some very, very good and very professional sportscasters in the Louisville market versus what other cities our size have.
