The norm is a 16-15 season, a losing conf record and an 11 seed in the conf tourney?
Good win today but No I wouldnt be ok with that
The minimum norm should be an ncaa tourney bubble team late in the season with frequent tourney bids
The team has been noticeably better coached since Trev Alberts got here last season. It seems odd but I refuse to believe that was a coincidence. If Fred can keep this momentum going and actually get talented players to play within the system for once, he’ll get tourney bids.
Fred has done enough this season to be retained. It was progress after 3 very bad seasons. I have confidence he'll get better especially with 1890 in the fold now.
Trev has been here 2 years of football. That got worse with him. He had nothing to do with the success of basketball. ( bubble NIT team).
Having a winning record this year should make it easier to recruit to NU. This might be the start of something good.
I hope so. Any major college basketball recruit should expect to play, at least once, in the NCAA tournament. As an athletic institution you are robbing your athletes of a truly magnificent and unique experience if you can’t all but guarantee this. NU needs to be able to tell recruits that they will play in the NCAA tourney.
Maybe a winning record is a step in that direction
Look at **** fingers here claiming Frost and Hoiberg are the same person. The only thing they have in common is that neither one will please you the way Sandusky did.
