Ironic that the flagship station of the NY Yankees will now have zero Yankee fans as hosts. In fact, the flagship station of the NY Giants is in the same position. And the commentary of the best know host is basically:

"Bro, bro, bro, Mets, Mets, Mets. Bro, bro, bro Jets, Jets, Jets."

The annoying guy jamstremski is a yanks fan.

I hope he changes his mind.
I tried to convince my dentist not to retire.
He didn't listen and died soon afterward. A few months later his wife died.
Poor guy never got to enjoy his retirement.
Japanse live forever since they don't have a word for retirement.

Hardly. His ego got the best of him, whether it was with Dog or his arrogance and nastiness with callers. He desperately wanted to be a media icon, but his Radio.com was a complete bust and he never got the big TV or sports exec gig he craved. At the end of the day, if you weren’t a Yankee, Giant or horse racing fan, he was tough to listen to.

Horse racing? - I've known horses who knew more about horse racing than Fat Mike.

Based on that scenario, I hope that he doesn't change his mind.

I mean the SportsPope was a dick but he made so much money creating that business he could be. For better or worse. Part of his job was to piss people off and most will agree he did a good job at that.

And I never liked him, but to those who mock the guy, the one poster is right. Carton is back on WFAN sooner than you would think.

He’s still better then the majority of radio people out there. To many people here are hurt that he’s brutally honest about Rutgers.

To be equally brutally honest about Francesa, his current ratings are similar to Rutgers' standings in the B1G East under Ash. Sorry if that's not what his fans want to hear.

Excellent article in NY Post on Fat Mike, he really blew his legacy by coming out of retirement after 2017.

https://nypost.com/2020/07/23/mike-francesas-second-retirement-better-late-than-never/

"When he initially retired at the end of 2017, he was given a farewell tour befitting a king. If he had just gone out then, he would have saved himself a lot of embarrassment. He could have avoided the $8.99 per month app that in the history of bad ideas is one of them."

Postman - still paying for Francesa's app?, LOL!

I hope someone woke him up when it was time to leave.
