Eh, I think his reaction after that Maryland game was not a big deal, considering how badly the officials butchered the final minutes of that (very tight) game. Last night seems like another matter entirely, if the reporters' accounts are accurate. Chasing officials down in a hallway following a 20-point blowout loss is going to be hard to explain.

Yeah, work the refs during the game, that's your job. When the game is over go to your press conference and drop a bunch of thinly veiled whining about the refs, that's your job. What you don't do is try to confront the refs after every game (er, only the ones you lose) and chase them while screaming MF-ER! That's psycho.

Didn’t something exactly like this happen after the Big12 Championship game with Texas? How many of you called out Bo and Carl for that? IIRC most were cheering him on. Just saying!

Nebraska lost because of a second put back on the clock..

Ioway lost by 20 points..o_O

Still want to make comparisons..

Fran is suspended for two games. His first game back will be against us on March 10th at PBA. Will be interesting if the refs give him any calls. They have long memories about stuff like this. He may be pretty quiet for one game. Of course, they may end over backward and give them every call. I've seen that often after a coach gets a T, etc.

A large percentage of us publicly called out Bo for that and some of us wanted him fired on the spot. If not for Osborne carrying his water, Bo would have been gone that week.

Now him and Gary Dolphin can set together watching the next 2 Iowa games on TV..

You're doing some serious rationalizing here. You realize that right? So just to be clear, your saying that Bo was psycho and we we're okay with it... and Fran is a psycho and you're okay with it? I guess my point is that for awhile I thought that Bo COULD have succeeded if he'd had a good therapist. Ultimately that was probably wrong because he had many issues. I think Fran is a decent coach that will probably fail because HE GOES EFFING NUTS.

It'll be interesting to see if a 2 game suspension cools him off a little. If not, he's definitely in need of meds.

From my understanding the refs were harassing his son and you saw a father's reaction. I was flipping through channels last night and saw this game was on. Iowa was up something like 31-25 and I saw some pretty bogus officiating. The stuff we see with the Huskers, but on steroids. I turned the channel and went on my business knowing Iowa wasn't going to stand a chance in the game. Ohio State was on the bubble and the Big Ten refs were going to make sure they make the dance. We see it every year.

Just because you were cheering him on doesn't mean everyone else was.

And behavior like that is why Bo isn't here anymore.
