Great song. I just like the overall sound of the band. Subtle Hustle has one of my favorite lines: "Got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm."10001110101
Maybe you are the one that sucks.Clutch sucks......sorry. I love hard rock/metal music, but never can get in to their songs.
I always suspected that you were a bad person, and now I have proof! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:Clutch sucks......sorry. I love hard rock/metal music, but never can get in to their songs.
Clutch circa 97 and earlier was awesome. Their later stuff had some good songs on it but nothing like their early days. Great sound.Great song. I just like the overall sound of the band. Subtle Hustle has one of my favorite lines: "Got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm."
Define hard rock/metal, as in the bands?Clutch sucks......sorry. I love hard rock/metal music, but never can get in to their songs.
Binge & Purge was the first song of theirs that I heard. That's what started me listening to them. I have a lot of good tings to say about the latest album though. Since I own about 10 of their 12 studio albums, I doubt that's too surprising though. They definitely aren't as hard of a sound as they were 20 years ago, but I feel like the quality of the music is at least as good.Clutch circa 97 and earlier was awesome. Ever listen to Ministry? I'm not necessarily recommending them, but they can be entertaining. They are to the buzz saw what Jackyl was to the chainsaw, well it might have been only one song, but still, it's a sound that lends itself to power tools. The most entertaining song of theirs that I know of is Jesus Built My Hotrod.FFDP

--OR-- Maybe we're not old and Mounatineer's taste just sucks
I'm hot and cold on that band. They do have some songs that I like, and I have an album of theirs, but I'm not a huge fan. I have heard some Soilwork. Not bad in the gym to rev you up, but not something I would listen to outside of that. As for the rest of the bands on his list, I don't know them either. I was basing my Ministry recommendation on Soilwork.I was afraid to ask what FFDP was. Thanks. I’ve heard them as well. Pass.
