With all the former cats that are now in the nba and all the future cats soon to be, how in the world can you, as a wildcat fan pick one team to root for...

Suns have three former UK guys in Knight, Goodwin, Bledsoe. Maybe they pick up somebody like Willie or Trey in the draft.

The only reason I pay any attention to the NBA is the UK guys. I don't root for a team, just the guys.

Good question, OP.

Also saw James Young and Ramon Harris on ESPN tonight playing in the developmental league. Have a feeling that two of the players leaving the roster this year will be playing in the developmental league in the near future.

Been a Laker fan for over 40 years. Presence or absence of former Cats doesn't matter to me.

But having Randle & Meeks is cool. Will keep on being a Laker fan after they move on.

If they are not wearing jerseys that say Kentucky on the front, I don't care about them.

Meeks is gone, went to the Pistons.

I hope the Lakers can get Towns, but doubt they get high enough to do that. Of course, with the Lakers luck the lotto will screw them out of a top 5 pick...meaning they lose that pick to Phoenix I believe.

Ha, thanks. Shows how little I've paid attention this season, especially after Kobe went down.

Bout all I know is we have Boozer, Jeremy Lin, and some goofy rapper lol.

pretty pathetic really.

I will root for all the players to do well. I'm a lakers fan because of Kobe Bryant. But his time is up and I think he needs to retire. Would love if they could get anthony Davis when he becomes a free agent. A frontcourt of AD and JR would be awesome

I root for a team because it's the first team I started watching when I watched an NBA game. They have no UK players either. If you're looking for a team with UK players to root for, go for Phoenix. Knight and Bledsoe are a sick backcourt.

I don't watch the NBA whatsoever, but what an *** response. All of those guys speak highly of the fans and their time here. Go cheer for UofL or IU.

I used to root for particular NBA teams when I was younger but now I just go from one team to another rooting for UK guys to do well.

BTW, it's apparent in a lot of the NBA's promotional materials and even the way they set up their website etc. that they try to push the concept of fans supporting teams, as opposed to supporting players. When I think at least as far as most UK fans are concerned (and probably a lot of other fans), it's the opposite.

Whether it be college or pro I don't switch my allegiance. It has been rough at times being a fan of the Cavs, Reds, and Bengals. However, I do root for former UK players to succeed.
