Nope. Still Eff Hobbs. He has shown his colors, and, given the opportunity, he'll do it again.

I still think it was in poor taste when he was celebrating with the shu’s on the court as a Rutgers AD. He can be happy for the shu’s but in that position he needs to use better judgement. Looks like a pattern of poor decisions...

I’ve been anti Pat Hobbs since meeting him right after he got the job. But I’m willing to let it go and see what he does from here. If he learns from his mistakes, he can be an asset to RU and we’re all on the same team.

No chance - AD at a Big 10 school and he made one bad decision after another regarding the football program. It began with hiring Chris Ash, keeping Chris Ash for 2019 (and seeing an empty stadium), the timing on firing Chris Ash (why not wait until game #5?), bungling the coaching search, bungling the GS negotiations, alienating many donors and ex players, then getting GS shoved down his throat.

He’s not a football AD as long as he has nothing to do with the program that’s fine. He was doing good with other sports programs.
He almost put the football program past the point of no return.
Will Schiano answer right to the president or will have a football rep?

Nothing to forgive. He failed miserably during this coach search and almost cost his employers tens of millions. He’s out.

I can’t see Greg coexisting with Hobbs as AD.

Barchi will not want to fire Hobbs, unless he gets political pressure to do so.

I believe that Hobbs leaves on his own in 2020. He will be the odd man out.

I think that’s highly unlikely given his contract terms. He’s not leaving 1.5-2mm on the table. They will have to fire him if they want him to leave.

A lot of people feel Schiano and Hobbs can't coexist .
I feel once they sit down, plan for the future, they might find things in common
they want and be able to build a fairly decent relationship .

Heck they might be able to set boundaries that they won't cross, letting each other do the job they were hired for .

If you think for one minute this tool won't be working against Schiano, you would be wrong.

Creeps like him don't take kindly to losing so publically (although, you'd think he'd be used to it).

The slightest missteps or problems and he will be leaking like a '75 Pinto to his butt boys in the press.

He needs to git.
