Ashbrook has their worst team in school history though......

Where do the kids that won 5 Years in a row Middle Championships go after middle. Schools in the state shouldn't even be able to smell Ashbrook.
I don't think they all go to Ashbrook, but the majority do. They do less with more than any school in the county.

From what I saw, FV's young qb looked accurate throwing from the spread, and they were able to execute a balanced attack from the spread. But, LNC was a weak opponent. And that's where they've sputtered this season, out of the spread. As a result, they've been forced to go heavy, and run out of the power I set. If they can mix it up and get the offense going out of both formations, FV should win. If they have to go exclusively power I, maybe they win anyway.

Cramer needs to complete passes against the FV defense, and to do so, they need to protect the qb. If they give him some time, I think he can go downfield. Whether or not Cramer's defense can stop either attack from FV, I really don't know.

Leaning toward FV by two TD's

I have seen several Gaston county teams play this year including Stuart Cramer, Ashbrook, Forestview and Hunter Huss and I can tell you that Stuart Cramer has the best defense of them all. Forestview and Hunter Huss cause problems on the offensive end with their size and speed. I say whomever wins Friday's game between Forestview and Stuart Cramer is in the driver seat for the conference title. Cramer is building a lot of momentum this season and from what I can tell other schools still view them as a whipping boy, big mistake! This game should be a great test for all teams involved but I believe the Storm will win 14-8 in a defensive battle. I have not yet seen South Point play but from what I here they are not nearly as good at the fullback position and no speed at quarterback or on the outside. It is hard for me to see them finishing first in the conference again this year.

BTW, not sure who picked FV to win 31-10, but they must be on something. SC has only had 48 scored on them all year, and only 28 were offensive.

Told you it wouldn't be 31-10. FV did end up with the 7 point win but it was a defensive battle just like I said it would be. Teams better start taking SC serious or they will likely end up with a loss. FV does have a bruising rushing attack that will be hard for most teams to stop. FV v HH and SC v SP should be great games to look forward to.

I'm impressed. Not by the score or how Cramer has improved, cuz they have. No I'm impressed we found a set of officials worse then the ones we had at Lake Norman Charter

From what I saw on the game, it looked like FV pretty much stuck with the power run game. 3 yards and a cloud of rubber pellets.

A defensive battle for sure, I came away impressed by both teams. Like Coach Medlin said, nothing negative for either side. That looked like a football game from the early 90's

They go to about 5-7 different high schools. I may be low on that estimate. Grier shouldn't be so much proud, as ashamed. Everyone goes to Grier or SW now whether they are supposed to or not. I've heard York Chester has about 73 kids in the school.

Wrong. SC's non conf. schedule was as weak as could be made. Nobody is impressed. Beat a good team....a team over .500 more than once, and we can have this discussion. Also- did I see on another thread you said BMSs best player went to SC?
