Yikes. Your first link describes a situation in which one child has been removed due to covid, but then at the end of the article the author admits that they have not been able to verify the authenticity! LOL their only source is fvcking facebook!
The second link describes how alcohol and drug abuse is rising during covid, causing children to be taken from parents for legitimate reasons. Children who are being neglected or abused due to their parents' alcohol or drug use need to be taken away.....that's the system working as it should. That is not an instance of the government just wantonly taking people's children.
