Jesus Christ you’re pathetic along with most of our ****** fanbase. We’ve been to 10 straight bowl games, have beaten ole miss 2 years in a row, have the best athletics department we’ve ever seen and some of you are terrified of that school. They live rent free in your head. They haven’t been to a bowl games in 4 years. Lane Kiffin hasn’t done **** in his coaching career. He’s famous because of his dad and because he’s fun and had a hot wife. Jesus y’all suck.
This is the same coach that was stranded on the tarmac by USC we are talking about, correct? He couldn’t turn them around yet he is about to help the South Rise Again by leading ole miss back to the glory days. The fact that state fans have tried to turn this into an MSU thing is super strange. They haven’t been to a bowl game in four years. No one gives a damn about them except state fans. It’s embarrassing to watch. It shows how obsessed this fan base is with them.

I say we just get more vigilant and bring their asses down again if they decide to start playing the game again in recruiting. Get what evidence we can get and snitch like hell on them. You know those dumb showboating recruits they like to go after wouldn't be able to keep their mouths shut for five minutes.

They could have done worse. We will take a hit in recruiting. He will get the to a couple of bowls in the next 3 and he will leave for a bigger job.

Is he THAT good of a recruiter?
He may get a couple national recruits, but he's not going to steal all the best players in Mississippi and MSU not get any. Just won't happen. Never really has happened by either school since Sherrill came to State. So it won't affect State's recruiting that much. And if he does have any success, he'll leave faster than any other head coaching candidate out there now. Mullen gave us 9 years, Kiffin would have left us after 2010.
Also, if he steals any recruits from Bama or Georgia, then the NCAA will be on OM for sure. So OM's recruiting will be limited compared to what they did under Freeze.

Did we or did we not play in a bowl game that year? And did we or did we not win it? It wasn’t a good year but we met the qualifications for a bowl game, so it counts. We have a Top 10 bowl streak nationally. Only four SEC teams have longer bowl streaks, and one of those (A&M) wasn’t entirely in the SEC.
The discussion is not about Moorhead. It’s about Kiffin. And I personally do not believe he will be a long term success, regardless of who our coach is.
What is more likely to happen first?
1. Kiffin gets them to a bowl game
2. Kiffin impregnates Tony the Landshark?
OM attention will be Kiffin starting out 2-5 next year. Baylor, Bama, AU, LSU, & FL in the first 7 games
I think Kiffin is the perfect fit personality wise for ole miss. You honestly couldn’t find a person that matched their core values any better. Arrogance based on nothing, unmitigated hubris, flash with no substance. I’m excited about it honestly. I think he can be a decent coach for them, but this is a very high risk with medium reward scenario if you are a rebel. The gloves are going to come off with the boosters. It feels like they are about to make a big mistake but this will make a big splash and generate a huge amount of attention and interest for OM. The recruiting trail is about to become the Wild West especially with the new likeness and blurring amateurism rules. There is going to be some serious creativity in Lafayette county.
