Save the photo you want to use to the photo gallery of your phone.
Then click on the avatar button on the top right of your phones screen (to the right of the "CATS illustrated") heading. Then click the "Add avatar" (I think that's what it says) button and choose "documents". You should see your photo in there.
I’m going to be 66 and I’m computer illiterate. I’ll ask my daughter if she can help me post an avatar. It may take years before I find the perfect avatar!

My avatar is of the 6thKY Infantry CSA. Had 2 2nd cousins in that regiment who died, a 4th great grandfather, and a 1st cousin. Both of those men survived (albeit wounded to hell). Barren County Roots.
How’s your history on civil war data in Barren and surrounding counties? I only ask because my son in law is crazy interested in metal detecting. His work allows him to travel and, with free time, do a little searching. He has found some amazing stuff. I’m talking mostly Monroe, Metcalfe, Barren, Warren, Cumberland, and Allen Counties.

Yeah that's my area. Fort Williams in Glasgow is about all I can think about it. I mean there was ''skirmishes'' here but nothing major.

Ok thanks. He has found civil war bullets at a site near Smith’s Grove, on a lucky try. Has found several on our land in Cumberland County. I posted on the paddock a year or so ago about him finding evidence of civil war camps near Smith’s Grove, and the so called former mayor of the town shot it down lol. I saw what he found. You know who I’m talking about. Anyway, thanks. Was just curious.

Bowling Green was a big confederate recruitment center. So that's not surprising.

I implore you to get one. It really adds to your profile/remarks (at least in my mind). It reflects your personality a little, makes it easier for someone that may like your opinions to see you, etc.

Anybody else feel this way?

If doing it on computer:
  • Find a picture you like.
  • Save it to your computer desktop
  • go to your profile (top right of blue bar on your screen), and hover on it.
  • select "Avatar"
  • choose "custom avatar"
  • click "choose file" - the pic you saved
  • center it, click "OK"
For those doing it on your phone - see post 28 of this thread.
If your Avatar is actually a picture of you, I’ll pass and keep the one I have. Suggestion instead of using the current picture of your *** as your Avatar change it to a picture of your better half’s tits. After thinking about it I’ll pass.

Ive heard stories about the same thing in smiths Grove area. There are several historical homes in that area that were used by soldiers/hotels

She’s OK. Not my type. I like the late 40’s, little heavy, tired and angry type. Love you honey, if you’re reading this……..you’re the light of my life…….
Haha. You know damn well she ain’t reading this. And Grom has terrible taste in women. Always has. You’re closer to it.

I am also 66 and a recently retired IT professional. I worked in IT for 45 years and just because you are a baby boomer, doesn't mean you are "computer illiterate". If I hadn't been able to adapt to new technologies, I would have been unemployed many years ago.
