Yes. Depending on your watching habits you can also suspend your subscription parts of the year and use OTA TV.

My wife enjoys the some of the live cable TV but we also put an antenna in the attic as a backup and have an HDHOMERUN network tuner. Most channels come in really well, and there are something like 50 OTA channels in the Tulsa area with all kinds of rerun type programming. So unless you have a devoted linear cable watcher in your household (like I do) a small investment in some OTA equipment will get you the network shows. You can even DVR them on a local hard drive if you want. Picture is outstanding and an antenna on the roof would make it pretty much flawless.
