I don’t use a photo sharing app so I can’t post a photo. However I took a freeze frame shot of the Mag injury. As Mag was about to jump the toe of Hall #25 came down on Mag’s heel (inadvertently). So as Mag jumped there was a little downward pressure on his heel. Not much but apparently enough to cause injury. It looked like he was in pain as soon as he jumped (meaning it likely wasn’t due to an awkward landing).
If that’s the mechanism of injury what type of injury could it be? I would think an analogy would be forcefully pulling your foot/boot out when stuck in snow or mud and straining/stretching something.
I hope the kid recovers quickly. He really plays like he loves the game.
