No reason to feel this way based on what I’ve seen from us this season... But I dunno. I’m liking our chances better than I thought I would at the moment.

Pros for winning:
1) It's at 11 am

Cons for winning:
1) Texas A&M has a better talent profile, but not by much
2) It's on the road

We will need some luck to win this one. Obviously have to win the turnover battle by at least 2.

Unfortunately, anytime #2 is a factor, my confidence level in getting a win goes down to almost 0.

I'm pretty hopeful. We need a fast start and some damn blocking. If we can open a few holes for Kylin we will win

I don’t share your confidence, but i will say this reminds me a lot of 2016. Lose season opener to South Alabama. Squeak by UMASS. Get whooped by Auburn. Lose back to back games to BYU and Kentucky. Feeling about as bad about that team as i do now. Go to Starkville for A&M anyway because i spent all that money on season tickets. Fitzgerald and company come out and punch A&M in the mouth, and hang on to win a game i thought we had no chance to win. Of course we come back and give up over 40 to Samford, get beat by almost 50 vs Bama, and give up almost 60 points to Arkansas. But we did beat A&M. Of course we were at home, being on the road this year just feels like an auto loss.

I’ve seen nothing all season to make me believe this team has a pulse other than a few promising freshmen.

I don't necessarily think we win...but I certainly felt like 10.5 was too many. Aggies played Clemson decent... but they've played down to their weaker opponents. Arky and OM both stayed within 10 and I expect us to do that also.

Love your enthusiasm. Unfortunately, I don't share in your sentiment. I feel, for some reason, that this will end up like Auburn Part Duece. I think that team left all they had on Scott Field last week.

I have zero confidence in a Moorhead coached team winning on the road in the sec. and I’ll keep this mindset until he proves me wrong. I’m fully expecting us to look lethargic, have 12-15 penalties, look atrocious on offense, and unfortunately lose.

I’ve learned to temper expectations. I’m expecting a poor performance tomorrow. Any thing better is a pleasant surprise.

Both were games away from home for aTm. We have been awful under Moorhead in sec road games

For some reason I hope you don't get popped for a random drug test at work Monday.

The sad thing is we really should not need luck to win this game. The luck that we need is our coaching staff to actually have our players ready to play and to not commit really stupid penalties and bone headed mistakes. That is all the luck we need to beat this mediocre team, but that is way too much luck needed for this coaching staff.

I want to thnk there is no way we win.

But I watched them play this season and they started their seasonal tank early. They never seem to do well with early starts at home either.

I am not expecting us to win at all, but I must say I would not be shocked to see it. It is cold as hell and the wind is whipping hard here in Texas today. It is supposed to warm up but the wind is still going to be rolling in the morning so I am not expecting any deep passes to be accurate for either team. They had trouble with the Ole Miss defense and the Ole Miss running game, especially the QB.

If the OL isn’t a smoldering pile of s$|£ and we don’t have special team blunders and stupid dead ball penalties ( false starts, delays of game etc) yes we have a damn good chance to get the W
We do any of the above and we get beat easily!
