Don't know about Mississippi prices, but it's about $4.95/can in Virginia.
(I buy 2 cans of Kodiak at the 7-11, and it cost $9.95.)

in MS and LA, Copenhagen runs around $5.50/can. i bought a can riding through Dallas a few months ago. it was $8 a can. the nice foreign man asked me if i was a cowboy. i said, what? he said in his nice indian voice, that only cowboys dip copenhagen. they dip it and then hit their wives. thought it was an interesting take on tobacco use.

Back in ‘98 I was in Connecticut on vacation and Copenhagen was $5.25/can.
Back in ‘10 or ‘11 I was in Davenport, FL for work and a pack of Redman Golden Blend was over $8 17ing dollars.
I bought neither. Happy to report I’ve not had a dip or chew since the 1st week of January 2018. No telling how much money I spent on smokeless tobacco over the last 34 yrs.

I spend around $23 every 4 or 5 days on a 5 can Copenhagen roll in MS. I usually have some sort of coupon depending on which store I use. My main store doesn't fool with the text coupons so I use the $3.50 off of 5 cans there once a month and birthdays....

My dad was a skoal man many moons ago. When I was about 3 he'd give me just the smallest bit you could dig out whenever he'd get a dip. Well one day he left a near full can on the hearth. Well being 3 with nothing else to do I decided I'd have a dip. Had half the Can in my mouth before getting sick. Needless to say 33 years later when someone passes the skoal, I pass it right on through.
