"question - how many of you old timers like me are going to start skipping watching college football this season?"
I started 2 seasons ago w/ college games and however long ago the "taking the knee during the National Anthem" was in the NFL.
I had season tickets for 40+ seasons, Until about 5 seasons ago if I wasn't at a game in person I had 2 tv's tuned to college football from the time Gameday started in the morning until the West Coast Pack 10/12 games went off 'midnight'ish'. I had Sirius on listening to games across the country that I couldn't get on tv even. I thought it was going to be hard to wean myself from it but the NCAA, AD's, Players, TV networks, University Slush Fund Foundations and Print Media all made it so much easier by pis-sing me off weekend after weekend after weekend and season after season. I no longer even have ESPN to watch it if I wanted to. I subscribed to ESPN Unlimited when it came out last year but turned it off in November after the Egg Bowl and haven't added it back since. I figured I would add it back in March for baseball but I just can't sit and watch 3+ hours and 9 innings of baseball like I once did so I didn't add it and didn't miss that either. I still want State to do well, Univ of Northern MS to suck, and I take an interest in the results but not the process of getting there.
