They unloaded the forward cargo with people and gear still aft, shifting the cg. I've seen this happen on E-3s (before they added 800lbs. of tungsten in the nose) and it's so common on tankers there's actually a big stick that gets put under the tail when the fuel tanks are empty at the end of the sortie. *The more you know*
