The enrollment numbers for 2020-21 were posted this afternoon. I have gone through and figured up 8-man numbers. I show 109 teams in 8-man, with 5 ineligible. This will mean that there are 57 D1 teams and 52 D2 teams.

This should start an interesting conversation.

I propose that any school with a number under 27 that opts to play 8 man this cycle and forfeits a game at any time during the cycle must play 6 man during the next cycle.

Thanks for the effort and especially by going further and adding the district projections.

One thing though, I had my split between D1/D2 happening within the 36's. So when I saw yours, I was wondering where we diverged.

I had Niobrara (19) - Verdigre (17) at 36. I see you have them at 41. Am I missing another school involved or is the 41 an error?

With the tiebreakers figured in, that means Hi-Line should be D1 and Niobrara/Verdigre D2.

I'll make some adjustments to my numbers and my districts.
