Think we’re all already up to speed on the this update is a little late no new developments for those who are thinking about reading this or not
It’s a nice summary of everything up there and I haven’t heard too much about Gethro here.

Would love Swider. And GETHRO Sounds interesting. A former top 150 kid, year under Bill Self, who said he has real potential, and can shoot it. Would develop here, could be Cliffs backup.

The problem is that I don’t think most of these kids are going anywhere to be backups. If we thing we already have our starting lineup set, which to me would be foolish, we are going to be disappointed with any incoming transfers we might get.

I have a friend who follows Villanova closely. He's not a Swider fan. Says the kid is slow and guys blow past him. I'm just reapeating what he said and have no first hand knowledge.

RU needs to go full throttle to land Harrar. He fills a major void in our roster.

I doubt coach has lineup "set" yet. We have seen players minutes go down in their careers here while some better players took over the minutes. I think transfers are given a chance to compete and get minutes deserved. See JY & Kiss as examples.

IMO PIke is going to go the low/mid major route and hope to score another Yeboah rather than dabble in higher profile transfers from a P5/BE team.

Why?

shouldn’t he (we) be going after players with skill sets we need rather than where they played there last college game?
