Ditto. Payback from 2004 was sweet! When Carson went down with the ACL injury I thought it was curtains.
No kidding. As an Eagles fan, you always wait for that "something" to happen that will end their chances. I thought losing two middle lb's would be that something. Then I thought it would be the loss of Peters. Finally, I positively was ready to throw the towel in when Wentz went down.
At the end of the game, I kept waiting for a flag, a second back on the clock....something.

That describes my take on the season exactly! I wonder if others feel this way about their team or if it just an Eagles Fan thing.

Been waiting a long time for this. This was a team of destiny. Look at all the players that we lost for the season, and how everyone rallied. No prima donas. Just guys grinding it out, following Doug Pederson's leadership. I was more worried about the Falcons game. Once we cleared that hurdle, I truly felt we could pull it off. Foles has been on fire, after nearly losing his spot to Sudfeld.

Heckuva game...I feel slightly guilty in admitting I was pulling for the Pats, but certainly not disappointed to see the Dirty Birds bring one home...savor the moment...my Broncos won 3 years ago and now it seems like an eternity ago
