I agree with this. The new talent just seems to be light years better. I will be very surprised if Jamison can A) make 141 and B) beat out a Raney Brother for that spot. I think Jax will make the move to 141 next year. And that is when we are going to have a Raney Brother problem.

And sorry for asking this question for the 37th time but with the new 5 in 5 rule - Jax, Landon, Sergio, and Dee all have four more years to compete in the NCAA tournament, correct? If so, that's nuts.
Correct. Jax, Landon, and Sergio all have chances to be 5 time champs. Dee can still be a 4 timer.

Just saw Jayden James is going to redshirt at Penn State this year. So that likely means Kasak at 157, PJ Duke at 165, and Mesinbrink at 174. Which I think is really good for us. Can Lockett beat Duke? Certainly a better chance than Mesinbrink. I now think 165 is wide open.

We COULD win 125, 133, 149, 157, 165, 197, and 285.

It sounds like James is deferring enrollment and taking a gray shirt. He's young enough to still qualify for the new 5 for 5.

Yeah, do you think it's telling how the lineup shakes out?

Honestly, and I don't know because I've never noticed them side by side, but Duke may be bigger than MM? Shelving James for a year ignites the flame that somebody unexpected is going to be at 74.

Correct. I knew that and mistakenly typed redshirt. I think it's a smart move. Y'all don't need him this year. Some other interesting log jams at Penn State as well - Joe Sealy?

We are starting to have them too. And we're definitely going to have to get creative starting next year. Good problem to have!

Definitely a good problem. No more redshirts will make managing that more difficult but having strong RTCs should help continue to mitigate the logjams. I think Sealy's freestyle ambitions are keeping him at Penn State.

It's good to see some excitement in the OSU fan base again. Its going to be a fun next few years seeing the Cael/DT rivalry grow. Competition is a good thing.

You should have a pep talk with your fanbase haha.

Lots of good dudes but man, you guys are becoming the uO of Wrestling with the amount of bad apples.

Anyway, yes, I agree! It is beginning to really get fun and honestly, I hope a bunch more teams join the party!
