This is the nature of recruiting today. If I'm a kid who toiled in JUCO I'd probably want to go visit the Florida campus for a game weekend even if I still wanted to go to Nebraska.

He's probably an immediate starter for us, and I think our system suits his athleticism really nicely

This thing of "committing" is really for show. It really means nothing. They shouldn't even let kids commit. Just basically have "odds" until signing day. When pen hits paper is when it counts, even that is iffy now days.

From what I have read, I believe he is solid. An FSU fan posted on his twitter acct a picture of a weather report for Lincoln at Florida and he responded, "I am from the Midwest I can play in any weather."

Re: weather. Conventional wisdom says come to the nice weather.
But players should always be reminded if they want a career in the NFL they better learn to play in any weather.
