Guys gotta make their choices. I see two ships passing through the night. One is heading somewhere great. The other one.... not so much. If you choose to take the other ship, that's on you.

Disappointing if he changes his mind..

Hopefully Greg Bell didn’t influence his decision..

This is the nature of recruiting today. If I'm a kid who toiled in JUCO I'd probably want to go visit the Florida campus for a game weekend even if I still wanted to go to Nebraska.

He's probably an immediate starter for us, and I think our system suits his athleticism really nicely

Judging by FSU's season, he'd probably be an immediate starter for them as well.

He’s committed solid to Nebraska, until he’s not! o_O
This thing of "committing" is really for show. It really means nothing. They shouldn't even let kids commit. Just basically have "odds" until signing day. When pen hits paper is when it counts, even that is iffy now days.

I’m ok letting the guys visit other places, that’s what the process is for. But to decommit this late would be awful for us. He’s potentially a big piece of next year’s OL.

I don’t know Bland, but I hope he has some loyalty to us.

i saw a post on Twitter today that someone sent him the temps in Lincoln and Florida. He replies by saying he was from the Midwest and could play anywhere.

Re: weather. Conventional wisdom says come to the nice weather.
But players should always be reminded if they want a career in the NFL they better learn to play in any weather.

If he’s gone it’s because we cut him loose. There are other things with thus
I believe this is the scone time you have said this. What, exactly, do you think is going on with Bland? I haven’t seen mention of an issues with him anywhere else.
