Florida Recruits

It's harder to recruit Florida when we no longer play Florida teams. The Big East had that link. The Big Ten does not. Instead we look to recruit other Big Ten states. Only problem is we have OSU, UM, PSU and MSU doing that as well.

That may be part of it. Even with the AAC, we had USF. Flood did OK in Florida. Seemed the last couple years of Schiano trailed off, and the last two years of Flood did too.

All things considered, Flood did fairly well in Florida. Some of those recruits left, but we have Grant, Harris, Wharton, Applefield, Russell, Hicks, Blunt, and Sneed on the roster.
