We are a relatively young team. Strength might be a factor, but I hope fatigue will not be.

I can’t even hate on Golden. He is a killer, ever school in the conference would take him without question. That being said, Florida is taking our place in the SEC and it’s up to UK to allow it or something about it.
If they can keep this up for the next 50+ years and we continue to suck, then yeah they could take our place. Until that happens, they aren’t close.

Pope will blame fatigue and for once I accept that logic to an extent.

I think that Florida is going to see a different UK team tomorrow than they have seen the first two games. They’re going to see a team tomorrow playing loose and letting threes fly from everywhere. If we’re on then we will win. If we’re having a tough day shooting, we will more than likely lose, but nothing has been lost. I don’t think our seed will be worse than a 6 at this point. They win tomorrow it would possibly lift us to a 5, and I’m not even really sure we want to go to a 5.

They are professional athletes, so fatigue shouldn’t be an issue. I was more talking about being tired of Florida and Golden

That’s not gonna happen any time soon. We’re stuck in the cellar like we are in football now.

Going to need a big game out of everyone. No stupid flagrant fouls or any bs like that

If I recall correctly, Florida was either a 5.5 or 6.5 point favorite at Rupp. Any guesses on the line tomorrow ... just curious ??
If I had to guess ... I'd probably say 8 or 9 points. GO CATS !!

our only chance is that Florida struggles shooting first game in large arena. but they have the frontline to overcome bad shooting so even then UK prolly loses by 6-10. We have the guards.. but not being able to get into the lane. Sure could use JQ...

I know tomorrow is going to be a tough game, but man I hope they can beat Florida. I’m tired of Golden and all his stupid comments. Even even UK loses the next game, sending the gators home would be so sweet!
Screw UF and their stupid little coach! I can't stand that they are so good. I guess I'm just envious LOL.

Florida had veteran guards last year that carried them. They also have a good front court that they got lucky with in the transfer portal. I highly doubt Florida is going to get that lucky in the transfer portal every year. It’s not like golden is killing it in high school recruiting. Next year they will take a step back.

I'm going to say something you won't like to hear, and as a non UK fan I try to be a respectful guest, so I will try not to offend. UK basketball is at a crossroads. Depending on what happens the next few years, you will either return to the top, or you will become just "one of the guys". Past championships are important, but they won't mean much if you don't start winning more championships.

Take it from me as a UF fan who has seen what happened to our football program. We used to be considered a national power in football, but now, we are largely a joke. Nobody outside of Gainesville cares about the 3x national championships, Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer, or Tim Tebow. Just 7-10 years ago UF would make fun of Georgia, because they couldn't win championships and we had 3. Now, you won't find a single person who even puts UF in the same sentence as UGA in football. The flip to their dominance happened in less than 10 years. We are the team that used to be good. UK beats us in football now.

It doesn't take long for the world to move on and forget who you used to be, while you yourself still think you are that program. People aren't thinking in terms of 100 years of basketball for other teams to catch UK. Most they are looking back is 30-40 years. That's why Indiana and UCLA are not seen in the same vein as Kansas or Kentucky. They have not updated their resume like KU and UK have.
