Does anyone know if you can get some buddies to split the cost of FloBaseball and have different streams going at the same time? Can’t see it anywhere on their website

It’s only $30 for a months subscription to watch it. Just curious if I have two other friends wanting to watch the games we could just spend $10 instead of all having to drop $30 for some baseball

According to their website you can have up to 12 concurrent streams, so you could split that a bunch of ways.

I think I screwed up on ordering this. I bought the yearly thinking I could cancel at the end of the month. They charged me the yearly amount.

I can go down to South Ms, (not my internet provider)

and with my Ipad, and using my home internet log in, and watch MSU sports and such.
Is that not the same?

I don't know, just asking.

It is my understanding you can log on anywhere that has wifi and use multiple devices with that same wifi. You cannot, as stated previously, log into more than one wifi at a time. This prohibits sharing a subscription. I don't know whether they need the money, but they want it.

We had to get FLOSports one time back when we had a women’s basketball team worth spending money to watch. They had it locked down where if there were multiple logins it would kick one of them off.

Just to make sure I’m crystal clear, there are going to be 20 or so games televised today via some combination of SECN, ACCN, and ESPN. However, if we want to watch an event involving 5-6 of the top teams in the entire country, the only option is shelling out $30 for Flo Baseball?

You have to be on the same wifi.

Yep that’s what I was going to say. You can have 12 streams but they have to be on same WiFi. So, you will have to either invite your buddies over, or all pony up. It’s worth it to me. I’ll watch every pitch of the Ole Miss games and will probably watch at least a little of the other games. I’m just glad college baseball is back.

Can you cancel online or through the app? Or will it require a call to a customer support line?

I did the same thing. Yep, they charge you the full yearly amount up front if you select that option. I called their customer service number and got it fixed. You should be able to do that too.

Damn.... Should have read this thread earlier. I figured I could buy a single game because I am traveling tomorrow and Monday. I guess I will have to watch the highlights, I'm not paying $30 to watch a single game.

Pretty clear on my end.

And plenty of our sec and espn guys do the same. Some of those espn guys tell the same story over and over again.

FloBaseballs production isn’t so bad. I just went ahead and got a month subscription. Couldn’t miss opening weekend with this amount of talent on the field. It’s better than SEC+ or SEC ALT.

Cheap guy hack.

I am listening to Ellis and Polk on HailstatePlus. Downloaded the Flosports channel on Roku. Just click on the game and watch the live preview without audio for about 3 minutes at a time until it goes dark. Go back to home screen and click on the showdown again and watch the next 3 minutes.

Audio is about 1.5 seconds ahead of video.

Just as I say that we miss the home run by Texas thanks to a crappy zoom call video about Covid crap and then miss the next pitch which was a double over center fields head because of a replay of the home run...

$30 for 9 games= $3.33 a game.....hardly ripping anyone off. If it was PPV what would be fair cost per game?
