But but Hud knows the university and facilities, he doesn't need to come!***

Most schools use "unregistered" planes for this type purpose. When you type in the "N" number, it will give you a message saying it is privately registered and they don't show up on arrivals/departures, so, it could still happen I guess........

You don't need to fly to have a sit down with Buddy Stephens; he and the current culture at MSU would be seamless

MSU has a Beechjet 400a. Not a Learjet. The Beechjet may actually be owned by Franklin furniture

Yep. In-person interviews are increasingly at off-campus and even out-of-state locations.

The last time this got heated up I was going to mention flightaware and track some plane from BFE to Starkville and make up some weird backstory and tie it to Urban Meyer to try and get people riled up but when I actually checked Starkville on flightaware that day I got excited for a minute, a flight from Lafayette, LA and some other originating point for another potential candidate whom I can't remember were coming in. I quickly checked the planes and one was a Comanche and the other a Bonanza. Not exactly coach-worthy business jets.

For the PJ Fleck fans, I've checked and there are quite a few boats coming down the Mississippi River this week from Minnesota.

I think most schools lease. I have a friend that used to have a couple leased to Bama.

I heard the jet had a long security line to go through and there was no water on board and he was heard mumbling something about "thought we had this $h1t straightened out!

Does MSU actually own it? I thought for years they had two, but neither actually owned by MSU.

Maroon Air LLC is the registered owner of the Lear 45 - N204MS. The old plane was a Hawker/Beech 400, forgot the tail number.

Franklin Corp has another Beechjet that has been used by MSU N370FC.
