You’re probably the old man who sets in a rocking chair in their porch yelling at kids to ”get off my damn lawn” as you choke on one of your 25 pills you have to take daily while also complaining about people living off the welfare state all while living off government funded social security and Medicare. Stop being a drain on society and call it a life.
Wrong. I’m 39.

So damn soft how this generation uses these cryptic messages in social media posts. They all do it. Not just UK guys. It’s weird, it’s stupid, it’s screaming for attention, and it’s a clear sign of immaturity.
You can put just as much blame on all the people who "follow" these kids. Seriously what kind of adult follows the social media of a teenager ?

I think Fletcher will be gone if not by semester end then at the end of the season and I hate it for that kid. He plays harder than anyone. Maybe he doesn't have enough stars by his name for Calipari. Nobody has played better even in limited time other than Jackson. Clarke, Boston, Askew even Ware or Sarr can make mistake after mistake with no discipline but Fletcher gets beat on 1 play and never sees another minute. There's a ton more pressure knowing you only have 1 screw up and you're done than being able to play with some freedom to make mistakes and learn from them. I've been a Calipari fan throughout but he's clearly more interested in draft night than Championships.

🙄 stop with the faux RaYcuST crap lol.

white kids talk like idiots too. Poking fun at the horrendous lack of grammar does not have some deeper or sinister motive.

Grow up.

Get over yourself dude. Lol bro nobody, myself included said anything about race.

Agree. What do you think it means? I think Fletcher has looked pretty good in the limited minutes he gets. He at least hustles and plays hard. I'm confused why he barely played yesterday. I'm sure he is too.
Not sure it could be unrelated to basketball but I doubt it .

I’m shocked that he didn’t get in yesterday either especially considering we were down the entire game.

Lol at you goobers making fun of his slang English like you’ve never used a slang word in your life. Wonder what that’s about??
I'm sure everybody has used slang at some point but if it's going to be seen by a lot of people it needs to be written in a way people can understand it.

The Older generation knocks the younger generation for venting through social media . The only reason it didn’t happen back in the day is because they didn’t have social media lol
I'd say the demograpics of facebook is definitely moving toward an older crowd

Cal has said he do t know how to teach a zone, never mind the fact that we taught a zone in 8th grade, so how the he’ll can they practice against one? I have asked this question for several years, what the hell do the staff do during practices ?
This. How in the he!! does Cal expect to attack a zone when he refuses to play a zone.

If Cal is being truthful when he says he doesn't know how to teach a zone defense (and I doubt that he is), then Mitch needs to hire someone who does.

I will come up there and install a zone offense AND a zone defense in a week's practice time that will make this team competitive against anybody.

So sick of the bs.

It hypothetically could....but I think it’s overwhelming likely that it’s because we use the same recruiting pitch to all the recruits which is centered around NBA....NBA...NBA. So when a player starts to see their NBA prospects dim they bolt for another school. I really think we need to overhaul our recruiting approach. As much as I hate to admit it I think Duke has the perfect model now. They aim for 2-3 one and done guys a class and fill out the rest of the roster with 3-4 year players.
I do think this approach would be the best. The only thing that worries me is as soon as one of those three star players put together two or three good games they leave and go pro as well.

Askew especially looked confused. I don't recall seeing him get penetration during the time I watched the game. Quit watching about 4mins into 2nd half.
MIntz is not a PG either. That alone means this season is already off the rails.
What Askew needs is some Soul Glow on that hair, let the shi* shine!

Zone ? How in the hell did that GT coach teach his team a complex defensive scheme like a zone ?? He must be a basketball version of Einstein to do that by the third game of the season .. freaking brilliant !!!

Well let's see.. Yup, lots of upper classmen.

You can hate the system all you want, that's fine. But please stop expecting HS players to just figure out the college game in the first month? Can we at least do that?

Of Askew, Allen, and Fletcher, at least 2 of those 3 will transfer.

Especially one who was an assistant under Calipari. You know Calipari didn't teach it to him.

This- Why did Mintz leave Creighton anyway? He was like the 4th best guard on their team but they did run out 4 guards and a forward.

And IMO Creighton runs one of the best offenses in the entire country.

Honest question.. why do we think Mintz can't be the PG? More so to what @Cawood86 said.. But why?

7 pts, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 2 turnovers.. I mean, that's not a GREAT line, but it's certainly not bad. I will take a 3:1 assist to TO ratio any day..

Mintz should be our starting pointguard, today.

Mintz should 100% be our PG today. I just hesitate because I see him as a combo guard and not as a primary ball handler.

If he's ready to leave after 4 games then go. He was ranked around 50th but he thinks he's a OAD..that's the main problem with kids..they think if they pick UK then they will be in the NBA in a few months...he and Ware should see 5mpg at most..3-4 year guys but wont wait

A 2-3 or 1-3-1 zone is the easiest defense to teach, you simply guard an area of the floor, you also expend less energy. Granted it is harder to rebound, but nobody is saying become Syracuse. Just use it to change things up.

And Cal recruits players that fit the style of a zone.
