He should have told them that their son has as much a chance of playing as he does coaching a second half comeback.
Everybody is in Cal’s doghouse except Boston and Clark. Including the fans.
honestly I wouldn't come back to that. The only way I'd come back is if I knew I'd be blackballed and end up at some tier 2 school. Not that a kid should expect guarantees or get them, but I just don't believe its been long enough for him to get his head right. Why come back to just be in the same position you weren't happy about when you left?

More like he's buried behind Allen and never sees the floor again and then transfers at season's end.
At this point, I think Cal needs to give him some real PT and see if he's ready to be an impact player and if not, he needs to be mature enough to understand he will continue to develop for next season and beyond. I don't see him being better than Jackson or Toppin, though would loved to be proven wrong.
Will he have to quarantine since he’s been outside the UK bubble?
At this point I would pull a Joe B move and shake things up by starting Toppin at C and Fletcher and Brooks at F and Allen and Mintz at Guard.
Well based on performance the lineup should be Askew, Mintz, Toppin, Ware Jackson. No way in hell Cal benches Boston though, Clarke should not play until 100% and should just be a rotation player.

Kids should always learn to live up to their word. To expect otherwise causes kids to underachieve in life. It’s our job to set high expectations for our children.
I neither agree nor disagree on an assumption on possible futures based on different outcomes.
Kids should still have high expectations placed on them for their own future successes. Whether he got that or not I have no idea, but he should have.
