Well he can’t go that far without hurting recruiting, but I would do it more subtly. He has every justification to play BJ limited minutes already.

That said, I think we both know he’ll never do that. It’s a 5* players first program after all.
Could justify that with how Boston is playing that he also has an injury

I tend to agree. Just advise Boston that it's in his best interest to opt out and prepare for the draft. It helps UK save a little face (our two best recruits were never healthy) and lets the returnees show what they can do with major minutes.

Just begin the move away from OAD. I'm of the mind to say it is more impressive to get a sophomore+ 4 star or 3 star drafted 1st or 2nd round then some prodigy 5 star

If I'm Cal, I would just see the writing on the wall and just have Boston and Jackson to opt out since they're declaring anyways and give Fletcher and Allen more minutes.

The defense will be ok, but we need all the returners we can get

Do this and forget about getting anymore 5stars.

Tag, this is Cal's year to be it. It is Kentucky's turn to try to keep our head above water.
If we do not go to the tourney, then Cal has to stay home on Draft Night.

Maybe another mysterious injury or two puts the NBA guys on the sideline to save up their strength for the draft tryouts and interviews.
With Boston's dwindling performance and Jackson's dwindling minutes, it is the perfect cloak

Most UK fans are still holding out hope that this team can improve and gel by early March and then win the SECT and Dance.

All that considered you play your best now.

I don’t understand the deal with all the hype on fletcher wanted him to play,he’s no better than toppin and toppin actually plays defense.

A cursory glance at box score numbers suggest Fletcher would be an asset. He is 3rd on the team in rebounds per 40 and has an insane steal rate, almost 4 steals per 40.

All that is in just 53 minutes of play. It can be just small sample size theater.

...yeah let's just start giving the players who could likely return more minutes

And Fletcher could be a hidden gem, only find out if you can keep him

No one is going to draft Boston are they? I mean even Diallo had better potential and athletic credentials as lousy as he was. Boston likey will be gone but not as a draft pick.
