forget the NIT. We are never going to be any more than a bibble team with his coaching unless we win the SEC tournament. It should be clear by now.

It really sucks..but Ill be there tues/wed to see the guys DESTROY some nobody in the NIT.

in the NIT. Try to win some games so Mississippi State can at least kick back some money to the SEC. Y'all need tocontribute something to the bottom line for the other schools. Each SEC school and the conference office received $1.26 million from the University of Alabama being in the BCS Championship game. That amount will pay Mullen's and Byrne's salaries for the year. You're welcome. Hell, even Vandy kicks in pretty well in basketball-- plus they offer the conference academic prestige. Y'all need to step up and make the rest of us feel better about sharing the riches. If the NIT is the best y'all can do to contribute then do it.

I say we end the season...no reason to continue to the NIT. It's just going to piss everybody off that we are playing in the the NIT...we are not a NIT team...we are a NCAA Tournament team. Florida is not, Minnesota is not, Utah State is not...

..last time I check this afternoon, MSU was getting their asses beat by Corpus-Cristi Community College.


MSU 0-3 so far this weekend in baseball.

I know I would definitely turn down a NIT #1 seed so I could delve right into some Cohenball.

Illinois, Dayton, Cincy, MSU, OM, UCONN...total **** teams.

Why turn it down...because we are too good for it? Really?...because they are who wants us. We arent too good for it.

Let's not get snobby and turn down a bid to play more ball. We screwed ourselves in this one boys, and if you have a competitive bone in your body you'd want to go out there your last year with the intent to show the nation that you did deserve an NCAA bid and win the damn thing. Don't be a *****. What good do you get out of turning down a bid besides embarrassment?
