Obviously Mack is not in Cal’s league and almost certainly never will be.

But Hoosier fans are rightly concerned that UL has already made the tournament and are decently ranked again while their hire - going into year 3 - has done nothing and looks to have a worse team next year.

So has Mack and UL passed Miller and IU (like everyone else has.)

Was Archie Miller ever ahead of Chris Mack? Seems like his status may have gotten close when Miller was hired at IU, but Chris Mack had Xavier in the top 5 that entire season, then Mack got a better job than IU and immediately took a roster that was worse than IU's roster last year to a 7 seed in the tourney. Now U of L is preseason top 10.

Mack over Miller, but, the UL loss to Duke was the most embarrassing collapse I have ever seen in college basketball.

Yes I remember UK got crushed on the first game of the season by Duke. That was embarrassing too.

You don’t need indirect comparisons of Kentucky and Louisville last year. They played - in Louisville. Wasn’t close.
I don't know, we looked like a joke against them. At least I could envision U of L beating them. We gave no indication that would be remotely possible when we played them.

Aren't Indiana's facilities antiquated?

Mack is a “hellava” coach. Given the UL situation, I think they hit the ball about as far as they possibly could in the hire. BUT, it’s still Loserville and little brother. I admire their effort…lol.

Indiana has brought Archie down, it would take a Cal level coach to resurrect that has been to the height of their success. It would take a good not great coach to get them back to relevance, some tournament appearances and a win or two.
