Were must of the "ALLEGED" criminals in-state or out-of-state recruits?

The current Rutgers players charged in the attack were identified as: Ruhann Peele, 22, and Nadir Barnwell, 20, both of Piscataway; Rahzonn Gross, 20, of Franklin Park, and Delon Stephenson, 22, and his brother, Daryl Stephenson, 23, both of Sayreville. Daryl Stephenson, also a former student at Rutgers, remains at large.

If true, the selfishness is beyond comprehension. How could you jeopardize the season of your whole team for this?

they jeopardized the rest of their lives. First of all they're lucky nobody shot them dead trying to invade a house, after that, way to throw away your scholarship, any career, and your own freedom while you're locked up. Can't believe how stupid these kids are.

I couldn't care less what life decisions they decide to make. You reap what you sow. They obviously dont care about their own lives, so whatever. I only care about the decisions that affect the lives of others, which was erasing all the hard work that their teammates put in and these guys let them all down.

Maybe the criminal actions Flood's players were being investigated of , is the reason Kyle didn't seen to have RU's backing on the e-mail he sent.
Now that RU players have been arrested, doubt Flood will get backing now , while the e-mail investigation is still going on.

I guess we can figure out why Barnwell didn't have the academics to play this year...

Maybe he was looking for his homework or the tickets to the play he had to go to for theatre appreciation? Could be an innocent explanation. . . .

Well, the upside, if any an be found, is that now Rutgers fans can stop acting like we are better than everyone else. Like we are in some vortex where recruits don't commit crimes.

Let's not go too crazy before the details come out though.

I guess we know why the neighborhood around College Ave was sketchy; football players were kicking doors in.

Peele has to be expelled. The kid is a thug and was rumored to be gang affiliated in his hometown in Linden. Barnwell should also be immediately expelled. DWI, flunked out and now this. Really shocked by the Stephenson boys. I heard that they were good kids.

Wow. I'd have to say that this is a disaster.

At the end of the day, no matter how much kool aid so many on this board drink, Rutgers is just like rest of the programs out there. To me, this is systemic of a team that lacks discipline. They all love Flood because they don't get disciplined the right way. The guy is in over his head.

But any player on the roster that was arrested needs to be suspended from the team because of arrest.

Why are people surprised by this? Especially with regards to Barnwell. There were red flags everywhere. I guess he's living down to his name.

Dumbest comment of the year.

Rutgers can't go two months without some BS to ruin our image in the public. We are the Donald Trump (without the money) of colleges

Man, I remember when Laviano going out with a fake ID got people wondering if we had a discipline problem. This is just sad for the entire program.

Absolutely. And agree that if there is any shred of substance to these charges whatsoever, Barnwell and Peele should be dismissed. Frankly, if there is anything to this, I expect all of the players will be dismissed. Rutgers has zero tolerance for this kind of ****, nor should they.

What does the home invasion have to do with anyone but Boggs? How come they didn't arrest Boggs months ago. WHY in general?

and all are. Herman just announced that all five are suspended

Good. This probably goes without saying, but what a bunch of dumbf*cks. Peele and any of those charged with armed robbery should be dismissed for good. Guess we'll see how the investigation play out. Just in disbelief at this.

it's on the ESPN page...to the right of the story saying Flood will coach the first game. We're making headlines again. Maybe Brady's story will cause some of our latest clusterf*ck to go unnoticed.

Well looks like RU's secondary will take a big hit, but much rather see that then ignore what those involved with the football program do.

Looks like an institutional culture problem. Way to go guys....making Commissioner Delaney look like a bigger fool than his usual self for letting you into the B1G.
