No way he goes, he's got it made in Evanston. Expectations at Northwestern are so low that one 9 win season buys their coach at least 4 additional years.
Plus then the Chiefs get extra draft picks now, with the misguided NFL rule change.

Was just going to post this. I don’t want Bienemy to go but it’s not like Reid would be lost without him.
Fitz should stay put. The Bears are atrocious and ready to get worse. And I'm about ready to convert to a cats fan if Nebraska stays like this.
Maybe. He’s pretty good at manufacturing W’s, even without elite QB play.
I’m not convinced Bienemy would be good in college. I think he’s a product of the system, similar to Mike D’Antoni in basketball.
I really think His agent perpetuates these to show his value as coach and recognition of his levelnof coaching as it is then used in recruiting relevance. It adds a wow factor in discussion with recruits. If he is never going to leave why does this happen a lot...that could be a reason.
I could see it happening. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who does things because it's the easy way like most people on this board approach life. He's done everything he can for northwestern. The ceiling has been met multiple times

I have always thought that he would be a good NFL coach as he is very good at schemes and matchups. Where he lacks is it is always harder in some respects to recruit to NW because of academics and logistics. You are battling every BIG10 team for Chicago talent as well as Notre Dame. Not an easy recipe.

I don't either. They have enough success to feel good AND low pressure. It's his job as long as he wants it. Only team higher in graduation rate than NU. High caliber kids with minimal discipline problems that I'm aware of. New facilities for the team etc........ doubt he leaves but doesn't hurt to talk
