Well, it’s safe to say his agent won’t be making up stories about NFL interest in Fitz this offseason

In all seriousness, I have to get my fun in now because I think that Fitz will be back to being relevant very soon with how he has recruited lately. Probably as soon as next year if he can make a good DC hire.

But I’ll never stop being entertained by his agent feeding NFL rumors to NU alumns in the media and using it to get a new contract from the Ryan family.

Fitz wouldn't succeed in the NFL - he's not a guru on the defensive end, much less the O.

He would be entirely dependent on hiring good co-ordinators, something of which he doesn't exactly have a great track record.
