I am blown away that we have such an easy bracket. WE won't be challenged til the final 4 sorta like how it was in 96. Duke's bracket is damn easy but Iowa St is better then anyone besides us in our bracket so i would take ours all day . IMO the toughest bracket is the West , followed by East , then south and then finally the Midwest. Hell yea.

Ours is tougher than the South, IMO. I think Midwest and the East are similar in strength. West is murder.

I'm surprised so many seem upset with our bracket.ND is the only good team I see.Maryland or Kansas don't impress me at all.

I'd much rather play Iowa St than Notre Dame. Rather play Duke's 8/9 and 4/5 also.

Not tons to complain about though.

It reminds me a lot of our 2012 bracket. It's not the easiest but not the toughest either. WVU and ND could be tough matchups

According to Grant Hill, UK got a bad bracket. It figures a Puke player would feel that way.

Jim, Grant and Raftery all said the Midwest is by far the most difficult region.

There are a lot of very good teams in our bracket but only 1 great team. We should win our region but it isn't as easy as a first glance would lead you to believe.

Haven't we learned to stop saying things like we won't be challenged until this or that, nothing is guaranteed man, hopefully we won't be!

I don't really have any complaints about our bracket, but I don't see how it is "super easy".

Maryland is probably the toughest 4. Notre Dame is the toughest 3.

Purdue has a couple of productive bigs including Hammonds who is a star.

I definitely think we will win, but we should get some challenges along the way.

I heard that. The West is clearly the toughest then Id say the MidWest.

how on earth can any one not think this is the easiest bracket. Listen Dukes is easy as well . I am with 7 others and we all agree this is the easiest path UK has hever had and i am with 2 guys who have followed UK for 60 years.

WVU ? LOL . IU ? LOL .Maryland ?LOL and so on and so forth . there are 2 teams in our region who we might not beat by 20 - Witichita St and Notre Dame but we only gotta play one of them . SO how is that not easy as pie . DUke's is easy as well but i think there's is a tad harder due to Iowa St.

No, West Virginia and Notre Dame are nowhere near tough match ups for UK...that's all. NOBODY in the Country is a tough match up for UK..and damn sure nobody in UK's bracket is a tough match up for UK.

Leroy we have disagreed in the past you are dead on . How on earth can anyone with any basketball IQ think we won't win the first 3 games by 20-30 pts .

Duke has the easiest bracket. We got ND as a 3 seed who could have made a case to be a 1 or 2 and we get Maryland as a 4 seed who was ranked in the top 15 practically all season.

I would rather play Maryland than play UNC. Maryland has no inside player that will challenge our bigs.

I think you are just being impossible over confident now. Two teams we wouldn't beat by 20? Come on now. Teams we've ALREADY failed to beat by 20 this season:

Buffalo
Texas
Columbia
North Carolina
Louisville
Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Vanderbilt
Missouri
Alabama
Georgia
Florida
LSU
Tennessee
Mississippi State
Arkansas

I think Maryland gets beat before hand but basically, Notre Dame away from a Final Four.

Possible path

16 Manhattan
8 Cincinnati
12 Buffalo (maybe Maryland)
3 Notre Dame
Arizona/Wisconsin winner

and then Duke or Nova in the finals...

Kentucky has atleast the 2nd hardest bracket, maybe the West is tougher.. Still.. The Midwest has 8 Power Conference teams.

round32 game will have lots of Cincy fans if they make it (so gotta root for Purdue).. The rest of the bracket is made up of underseeded teams and redemption games.

I don't think it is super easy...middle of the road.....ND if hitting threes is very dangerous, MD beat some good teams this year....Kansas...well nvm.

come on Seth you know i didn't mean 20 on the dot . WE basically beat Arky today by 20 but they made a few shots and it ended up at 15. What i mean is there is only 1 team as Vitale and Bilas just said in our region who might challenge us for a half and that is Notre Dame but they might lose before we see them and that would an elite 8 game so if it is tough so be it . BUt the first 3 rounds i expect to win by an average of 30 . Cincy and Purdue LOL those teams are a joke . WVU ain't healthy . and so on .

WVU is physical and deep. Notre Dame can at times shoot the lights out. I think outside of Duke's bracket UK got a nice draw. In a 1 game setting those couple of teams stand out in my mind as potential matchups that could give UK trouble. That doesn't mean I'm saying they will beat UK but I think that can be a battle. It it could wind up like 2012 and UK doesn't have any trouble till the FF

Midwest has the SEC regular season and tourney champ UK, Big 12 regular season champ KU, and ACC tourney champ ND.

Our team just needs to stay focused and limit the distractions. If they can take-care-of-business they can get to the FF. The "Sweet 16" game and "Great 8" game can really be a tough game, in the NCAA Tournament format. Hopefully the team won't be "flat" at any time during the NCAA Tournament. I was starting to get a little worried during the beginning of the second half, the way they started, but they got back on track after a few minutes.

You need to go back and review UK's 1997 bracket. That was a free ticket to the final four, even if it was in the West.

That's because we're in it. They're not looking at it from our perspective.

I think there are people who would ***** about our bracket regardless.

ND is good, but we were bound to get a couple of tough ones.

MD with 6 losses as a grossly underseeded 4 is my only real problem - they should be an E8 matchuip for a 1

But there's very little to complain about all in all

Cane, you have several post on how easy the Cats have it in the Tournament dude. If you have an agenda here, spit it out in one post instead of making multiple post on how easy the Cats have it.
