Don’t think we catch any ahead of us now. Have to stay above bottom 4. RU currently 5-10 as is NB, we own tie breaker. Indiana 4-10, NW 3-11, PSU 2-12.
Assume we win 2 (PSU and IN).
Don’t see NB winning more than 1 - loses to Pur, MI, MSU, Iowa. PSU a toss up. We only win 1 and they win only 1, we are above them
IN only foreseeable possible win is against us. Losses to Pur, IS, WI, MSU, IL. If we lose to IN but win PSU, we have 6 w they hav 5
NW even if we lose all but 1 they need three wins (nut sure how tiebreaker would work) and I don’t see three wins vs,OSU (2), WI, MN, Pur, IL
PSUhas IL (2)MD,WI, NBand us. Even if we lose to them (but get IN win) don’t see 4 wins for them.

Don't try to figure this out, these teams are still competing hard at the bottom of the league. PSU is working hard and pushing teams to play well. They can easily pass Northwestern and Nebraska. I can see Illinois getting to 10-10 or cooling off and dropping behind RU....

One half at a time and game at a time...

We are the type of team this year that can win 3 more games or lose out. Truly have to take it one game at a time

Rutgers will be the under dog in every remaining game except for Penn State .Yes,upsets will happen which will impact league rankings right down to the last games of the season.Minnesota and Penn State are the most winnable games in grind out low scoring performances.

But who cares about if we are an underdog or not, when our team is showing that we are capable of playing at a much higher level right now. The maturation of the youngsters make our team much better, much more competitive and much more up and down. I could see is getting 3 or 4 wins, and I can see us struggling to win 1 game. It’s a game by game thing for our kind of team right now.
