First no-hitter since 1985

Pretty great way to close out the weekend after a disappointing Saturday. Lotta good things happening.

Took some really tough defensive plays to keep it but still nice .

[Hump4Hoops]

Those tough defensive plays are something we weren't getting

before. One error from an awkward hop into our new shortstop, but otherwise, stellar defensive performance.

There's rarely a no-hitter that doesn't feature a gem or two.

Even Rowdy Had a good day. 2 hits, 2 BB, 1 K, scored 2 runs, not too shabby.

Who didn’t throw a no hitter today you ask.

Auburn in the 9th giving up 8 runs to BC to go to extra innings.

The same Auburn who lost?

You hate to see it.

Edit: and the loss goes to Tom Glavine's son. The apple rolled a bit when it fell from his tree.

The 1999 no-hitter came on March 16 against Alcorn State in a 21-1 victory, as Scott Polk, Justin Estel and Brian Compton combined on the feat. Against the Braves, Polk allowed an unearned run over six innings pitched with two walks and nine strikeouts. Estel fired one inning and walked one, while Compton walked one and struck out three in two innings of work.

Yeah, I remember seeing that box score in the clarion ledger back in the day. If you’d asked me before today, I would’ve said it was valley and thought we pitched more guys, but remembered a no hitter box score with virtually no mention of it in the C/L

Lemonis seemed pretty pissed off yesterday. Bring in the young guns and glad to see the bats come alive. We still have a lot of work to do. I honestly hate being ranked this high this early.

So far only one team in the whole sec has a losing record and that’s Missouri.

Aren't they on our schedule?
