Relf is a much better QB than Russell which is why he starts and plays nearly every snap. Russell may have better pure passing ability, but that's not the only factor in playing QB.Repeat Offender said:that Relf is a better QB than Russell shows this entire board your ignorance. The fact that you root against Russell (An MSU player)and LOVE LSU tells us something else. You figure it out genius. So how is your site going? Crashed yet from being overwhelmed byall of your visitors? Didn't think so.
Repeat Offender said:I guess that we will have to agree to disagree. The ONLY reason that Relf is starting is because it would be hard for us to beat teams throwing the ballthis yearwith our young and inconsistent receiver play.Russel is a passing qbso if our gameplan is to only throw 10 passes, he shouldn't start. WithRelf, itwouldn't matter ifwe had 5 Julios, he wouldn't deliver. We try to run the ball and the clock to compensate for Relf's "abilities". If we had an adequate receiving corp, Russell would start and I fully believe that Russell will beat out Relf next year. I know that you probably disagree and that is fine, we will just have to wait and see how it plays out. I think that Russell did a good job tonight, he should have been rusty considering his lack of playing time. That was not the case.
