I would like to see more of Clair.

Leveling the defender with his shoulder, like he did, was a thing of beauty.

Whatever else, this game has been quite entertaining.

Edit: I mean, give Ohio some credit, particularly their special teams. They have had stuff to be happy about too.

At least the FG went through this time, same hash, same distance. Rarely do you get a second chance exactly like that! Really need Kubs to be reliable b/c points are hard to come by this year.

Might be the softest 17-0 halftime lead I’ve ever seen.

This defense is going to be absolutely shredded in the B1G unless/until we figure out how to play with any kind of physicality. The defensive line doesn’t seem to have any kind of pass rush plan besides “run into the OL,” the LBs aren’t physically arriving at contact, and the DBs are waiting back tentatively.

Hilinski at least flashes decisiveness, though we haven’t really tried to push the ball down the field at all. Hull is fine, but not going to break those long ones in conference play. Robinson has some juice, not seeing much out of any of the other WRs.

The West is terrible this year. That keeps my hopes up.
