Here we are, on the last Saturday in November, with only a win over struggling Illinois between NU and winning its seventh straight game for the first time in 21 years, and seventh straight Big Ten game for the first time in 22.

I didn't make the trip to Champaign. I was planning on it, but we have family in from out of town and I couldn't get away. So we'll all enjoy this Thanksgiving Feast on TV.

17 MPH winds. I foresee many carries by Jackson, Larkin, Moten, et al.

I recall a game in 2003 or 2004 where Wright & Herron ran it virtually every play against the Illini. Basanez had quite a few carries as well and maybe passed if eight times. We won the game soundly - should work today as well.

Yup, if we lose this one we deserve to fall as far as they let us in the bowl selection. How can we look this lost against the read option in game 12?

Terrible decision & throw there to turn it over on the four yard line. Thankfully Skowronek caught #4 or he may have taken it for a 97 yard return.

Nice sack there. The Cats need to wake up.

On the plus side we had a sustained drive to wear down their defense and the turnover keeps them on their own end of the field.
