It’s the same starting five tonight, as Beran gets the start despite Turner being back in the lineup. NU is going big again — but really, they don’t have much of a choice.

This is the second in a stretch of four games in 10 days. It couldn’t have come at a worse time for the injury-depleted Cats. The concern again will be backcourt depth, but at least AJ can handle the ball.

Miller Kopp is insanely good! Can't wait till we get some depth the next few years.

He looks like he could be the #3 option on a top 25 caliber team. If Buie can stay healthy and he’s as good as he’s looked and if either Nance or Beran play to their potential, we’d have a nice big 3 so to speak.

Keep waiting for Nance to have a good game I'm not sure when it will happen if ever.

What a terrible start for Nance. He missed two shots, including an airball, and committed a turnover and two fouls by the first media timeout.

He's got to wake up.

NU has six fouls at the 11:29 mark. That's bad news for a team with just eight scholarship players.

Our offense is Kopp and Spencer so far. Young’s points created by Spencer.

He seemed to be warming up very carelessly. Usually a bad sign of a non focused player

Jones picked an excellent time to play his best minutes of the year. First extended stretch I can remember where he didn't pick up fouls, which is crucial for this game with all the other bigs in trouble. Had some nice movement on offense and some good things on defense. Like to see it.

Hope Jones sticks to dunks rather than rushed 3 point attempts. But we got a nice boost from him for sure.

The good news is that we're somehow winning despite being short-handed, fouls and Nance playing awful. The bad news is that the guys who are playing well (Spencer and Turner), won't be back next season. But we are playing hard and showing once again that we've got some real talent. I'd be shocked if we can hold on to this lead, but Go Cats!

That wasn't great. But we do need someone on the floor with some size. Nance picking up a cheap 3rd foul like that really stings. Jones is playing good defense and can rebound more aggressively than when we had 2-3 guys with 2 fouls on the floor. Works for me.
