I was surprised to read in NU's notes that Northwestern is gunning for a record fourth straight home win over the Hoosiers. They also have a shot to sweep the season series for the first time since 2011.

The first time these teams met, Chase Audige scored all 17 of his points in the second half, 11 of them in the last three minutes, to spur the Wildcats to a 74-67 win. Ryan Young and Miller Kopp scored 13 apiece, while Young also had nine boards. Trayce Jackson-Davis led NU with 22 points and nine rebounds.

Young and Gaines will start again for NU. I don't think Berry will be available after the tragic death of his father.

The bad news: NU is 1-6 and has just three points at the first media timeout.

The good news: Indiana is 0-9 and hasn’t scored yet.

Keep them off the boards.

Nance is so handy on defense as a 4, on the help side while Young stays on the other team’s big

Ball went inside in 1st possession and RY missed a close semi. Went again over 6 min later for a RY and 1. Why it does not get down low more?

Buie’s shot selection is making Audige look like a seasoned player.

Defensive rebounding looks bad. While defense elsewhere looks terrific

Indiana fan here.

There isn’t a Big Ten level coach on this court. And not too many Big Ten level players either. This was a bad product of basketball for all of us.
