It's amazing how consistent Scotty is. One unit plays well (offense), one unit complete *** (defense) and we got the mind boggling time management special. The only shocker is the special teams haven't been complete *** so at least that's an improvement.
It's amazing how much more competent the offense has looked compared to any time in the tenure and still losing. Just lol.

Giving them 7 when they are trying to run out the clock and having 7 taken off the board on a ******** fumble call. That is exactly how you lose games like this.
Crazy....looks like they're gonna go up 21-3 and then fumble it away.

NW controlled the clock because of our weak *** defense and we had 7 taken off the board on that ridiculous fumble call.

Skill players who don’t emphasize ball security in traffic, check
Poor HC decisions, which lead to points for the other team, check
you can change assistant coaches, you can bring in 20 plus new players, the HC is still the same. We are just a dumb program that others know will beat themselves eventually.

I'm good with getting into a dogfight in game #1, particularly against a B1G opponent. I just hope we can pull out a W.

There were guys on dline who looked like starters that weren't all out there together in starting unit. Robinson looks garbage, while Feist and Wynn look like dudes who Sissie at different aspects. Hutmacher looked good too.
On edge, only Tannor has looked decent so far. Hope we see more Blaise and Butler in second half.
Lb... Is Reimers out?? Henrich mostly miss than hit, same with Kolaravic. Try Gifford more, and give Wright a shot.

Whoever decided to move Dawson to D-Line should be fired. He sucked at OLB, be sucked at Special Teams, how about we assume he’s not a good coach.
100%. Their offense would have to score like Pitt last year to even stand a chance if defense doesn't make some serious adjustments.
