To be fair he probably felt right at home watching that goal line stuffing of the offenseWhen I was watching, I thought it had to be killing him that he wasn't directing the offense. Especially as we couldn't pound it in from the two yard line on four attempts in the first half until we got that penalty and one more shot at it. Just sad
Scott thinks it is his fault.
Whipple wasn't the one who called the onside kick. What a fvcking loser. Sack of **** so bad he had to give up being OC now throws new OC under bus as of it was his fault…
What a fvkin clown
Can wait for Oct 2nd

That's funny. In Coach Whipple's defense, he says it takes 3 years implement his offense. That looked alot like his first year at Pitt. Passing all over the place without much to show for the throws.
Or we just wasn't good enough on both sides of the ball.He is the head coach so everything that goes wrong is his fault. A true leader would have said something along the lines of: I didn't do a good enough job of explaining to our offensive staff that being creative is a key component to being successful in this league.
Did anyone watch the game and hunk Northwestern’s offense as more creative? In the second half it was the most boring conservative offense I’ve seen. If you ask me Nebraska needs to be less creative to cut down on turnovers. Focus on doing simple things but doing them extremely well.
He is not panicking, he is just over his head and says really dumb stuff! Not a good look from Frost. I'm sensing some panicked vibes.

With all the Attention these years on Frost being incompetent, the one person flying under the Radar is Chin ,absolutely is not a P5 DC ,, he had one good year last year playing with a bunch of 24 year olds.Frost called out the wrong coordinator
Defense was a total dumpster fire
I think it is time to be honest, some based on one game and some on the past.
Our OL couldn't create a little crease in the NW front. NW rarely even needed to have their LB's come up and make the play. They didn't need to blitz, just play us heads up and wear us down. We looked gassed the second half. The last TD they scored our guess were all just standing and watching, embarrassing.
Thompson threw the ball in the second half like his film shows, a lot of them behind the receiver throws which leads to tips. Then he missed the easy outs and the deep throws with overthrows. The second half was a disaster. NW knew we couldn't run, game over, now take chances with your pass coverage and know you will give up one now and then but no way was Nebraska going to drive the ball the second half. Now we all have to wonder which Thompson we will see each week.
I have not been a Chins D fan ever and now I am more so. Every once in a while he brings a safety up but mostly they are deep which begs the O to run the ball which they did at will. Where were our LB's? They are running across the field chasing receivers all day long. No pass rush still or again. Once again, the middle of field is open like the Red Sea.
When are we going to be a good tackling team? We weren't physical on either side of the ball, nothing new here. But still, why can't we tackle?
Turnovers are still an issue - people thought they were gone with Adrian. Perhaps not. The punting game was really good, not what we were doing on kick offs.
Overall, this was a terrible effort all around. We were outcoached and outplayed all around and you have to look deep to find the positives.
I will give you that. Celebrate the little things. One high snap though. My one positive...
1 penalty for 5 yards
This in SPADES!!The next time Scott Frost takes real responsibility for his team will be the first time.
By throwing the Offensive staff under the bus, and with the influx of so many transfer kids, this program has already began to splinter. It took one game? This in SPADES!!
And fumbled in the red zone, and came close on a hurry up drive to knocking in 3 more points.Wow. Thought the play calling was pretty good. Scored 28 pts.
